The balm itself is built on two butters, shea for nourishment and murumuru seed for hydration, giving a glossy finish that stays comfortable instead of turning sticky. Laneige's one-week consumer study reported 98% agreeing lips looked glossier and felt smoother, and 92% seeing less flakiness. The squeeze tube has a built-in applicator curved to follow the shape of the lip, so you can apply it without a mirror. Berry is also the only shade in the range carrying a berry fruit extract blend — raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, strawberry and goji — for antioxidant support.
