Dr. Althea's 147 Barrier Cream is a deeply hydrating moisturizer built for dry, sensitive skin with a weakened moisture barrier. It leans on Ceramide NP alongside a stack of hyaluronic acid forms to deliver multi-layer hydration while helping shore up the skin's protective barrier against water loss. Squalane and a blend of fatty alcohols help round out the emollient base, giving the cream a cushioned, non-greasy finish that relieves tightness and flaking rather than sitting heavy on the skin. Centella Asiatica, fig fruit, and coptis root extracts add a soothing layer for stressed, easily irritated skin. The fragrance-free formula is meant for daily use, and works equally well as a standalone moisturizer or as a buffer layered before and after active treatments like retinoids.
